Schnitzel, Strudel... and Snow

Firstly, happy birthday to Karen for yesterday. We enjoyed a slap-up Austrian meal last night - and it was a welcome change from cheese sandwiches and pasta in sauce. We both went for schnitzel, followed by a magnificent helping of strudel. Our waiters and waitresses wore traditional Austrian dress, and we were even treated to some live music.

Meanwhile, the weather has got progressively worse - it was raining again by the time we walked home, and has hardly stopped today. The temperature has also dropped sharply, particularly on higher ground - hills that were green only yesterday are now dusted with a layer of snow.
