Setting Sail

overcast

We've come as far as we can by land, so today we take to the sea to get to our next destination - Japan. Our ferry leaves at 1pm, and arrives in Osaka around 48 hours later. We caught a glimpse of it a couple of days ago at Shanghai's International Ferry Terminal, where it had just arrived on its inbound journey.

Apparently, amongst other diversions we can expect a mahjong room and karaoke bar. Before we reach the open sea, however, we are hoping the weather will be good enough for us to stay on deck as we travel down the river and watch Shanghai slip past.
